Veteran actress and activist Shabana Azmi has been diagnosed with swine flu, and doctors have advised her to take complete bed rest. The actress, who was reportedly gearing up to join the ongoing protests, has been asked to stay in bed and rest fully.
Shabana Azmi’s team confirms 102-degree fever
As per her team, the actress has come down with swine flu and is currently running a high fever of 102 degrees. A statement issued by her team read, “Shabana ji was meant to go to the protest today but she has contracted swine flu with 102 fever and has been advised rest by the doctor.”

In the days leading up to this, Shabana had been actively involved in the protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, standing alongside protestors and using her social media presence to keep followers updated on developments from the ground.

Shabana Azmi’s health deteriorates at protest site
At one of the protest gatherings, Shabana’s health took a turn for the worse, and she was seen being taken to an emergency medical centre. Even while unwell, she continued to stand by the cause.
