Union minister Kiren Rijiju announces special session of Parliament

NEW DELHI: The government on Wednesday rejected media reports claiming that Parliament would convene a three-day special session from August 16 to 18 to consider the Women’s Reservation and Delimitation Bills.“No proposal to extend the dates of the Parliament session and no special session from August 16 to 18 on Women’s Reservation and Delimitation Bills,” Union minister Kiren Rijiju told ANI.The Monsoon Session of Parliament commenced on July 20 and will conclude on August 13.
