A TMZ report says the former actor’s mother, Carol Garrett, confirmed that her son passed away in his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The cause of demise has not yet been discerned, as the autopsy is ongoing; however, a week prior to this, the actor had gone to the emergency room. He had later been diagnosed with shingles.She further revealed that her son had gotten sober and had been getting better for the past three years.

He is survived by his mother and his younger brother, with whom he lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
