Elmo calls out Taylor Swift over the rock in the ‘Opalite’ music video
On February 6, Elmo took to his social media account to call out Taylor Swift and her lonely character in the ‘Opalite’ music video. Referencing a rock that appears in her music video, Elmo wrote, “Ms. Taylor Swift…you have got to be kidding, Elmo.” This comment directly references how Swift’s character has a rock for a best friend, until she comes across Lonely Boy, who becomes her next confidant.The comment is also related to his relationship with his co-star Zoe’s pet rock, Rocco. In 2022, a video was shared on Elmo’s account where he was bothered by Zoe for prioritizing Rocco over him. Later in the video, he clarified that the two had reconciled; however, he still did not want to talk about Rocco. The ‘Blank Space’ singer is yet to share her side of the story about the matter.
