Ro Khanna says King Charles must answer what he knew about Andrew’s Epstein link: Maybe end of British monarchy
Indian-American Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna said the King and the Queen must answer for the Royal Family’s link with Jeffrey Epstein through former Prince Andrew. Khanna said the UK government may fall and this may be the end of the British monarchy, as the latest release of the Epstein Files put the Royal Family in the most vulnerable position. On Peter Mandelson’s past link to Epstein, Khanna said, “The allegations are very serious that he was working for Gordon Brown (former UK PM) and then feeding information about UK possibly buying Euros and having Epstein trade on them. I mean it is deeply, deeply troubling. And I saw this interview with Epstein’s former girlfriend talking about how someone was a loser if they weren’t mentioned in the Epstein files. It’s a window into the elite impunity. This club and by the way I think this is the most vulnerable the British monarchy has ever been. I heard they were asking Queen questions about Epstein. They ought to ask King and Queen questions. Maybe this will be the end of the monarchy,” Khanna said. Stripping Andrew of his title is not enough as punishment, the Democrat said. “If you have allegations of raping a young girl, I don’t think the appropriate punishment is that you no longer get to be Prince. There’s got to be more than that.”Prince William and Princess Kate expressed deep concerns amid the continued revelations about Andrew’s close link with Epstein, their spokesperson said. “I can confirm the Prince and Princess of Wales have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations,” the spokesperson said, quoted by Sky News. “Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”Khanna said the Queen is not above questions as she is just a human being and is supposed to be answerable like any other human being.
