Steven Spielberg’s return to the big screen is also one of the many films being celebrated at the Super Bowl. The latest trailer for ‘Disclosure Day’ has officially been released.
‘Disclosure Day’ new trailer released during Super Bowl
Steven Spielberg is back again with another sci-fi hit. This time around, starring Emily Blunt. The announcement a month back had already set the world afire with excitement. Now, another trailer has officially been released, and the fans cannot get enough of it.Released during Super Bowl 2026, aliens are back in season with Spielberg’s ‘ Disclosure Day’, as the new trailer shows that mankind is finally getting exposed to the fact that there may be other life forms out there in the vast universe. While the plot is kept a mystery for the most part, it explores themes of secrecy and suspense as some people fight against time to release the truth to the world. The trailer opens with a newspaper clipping reading “threat to publicly release government material, long shrouded in secrecy.” Actor Josh O’Connor appears on screen and shows something to another character. They converse about the matter, and when she asks if they are people, O’Connor replies by saying “No.” The remainder of the trailer plays out certain action scenes, along with crop circles and more; however, it does not give viewers a chance to discern and predict what may happen in the film.
About ‘Disclosure Day’ and Steven Spielberg’s return
The first trailer debuted all the way back in December last year and created a lot of buzz and excitement over Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor’s pairing. It showed Blunt as a weather news presenter who seems to get overtaken by an invisible force on live television. She starts muttering strange sounds as people from all across the world watch it all on their screens. The film is set to release in theatres worldwide on June 12. This is also Spielberg’s big return to the film industry. He last worked on the film ‘The Fabelmans’, which was released in 2022. Prior to that, he was also one of the masterminds behind ‘West Side Story.’
