ETimes review of ‘Vishwanath and Sons’

ETimes praised director Atluri for maintaining a careful balance while dealing with the movie’s sensitive premise. The review read, “Given the precarious nature of the premise, Atluri deserves credit for walking a fine line. He never pretends that this is a conventional relationship, but neither does he allow it to become creepy. The film’s biggest achievement is perhaps the dignity with which it handles the subject.“The review also highlighted the performances of Suriya, Mamitha Baiju and Radikaa. It stated, “Much of that comes from the casting. Suriya and Mamitha have such disarming screen presences that it is easy to trust their characters’ better instincts, while Radikaa’s warm, stately presence lends further credibility to the family dynamic. The actors seem to understand this too, bringing their most charming selves to the fore.“DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
