He reflected on the unpredictability of success and how, sometimes, it’s impossible to foresee the trajectory of a project. “Before doing the film, the only thing I knew was that it is by Dharma. No one knew it would reach this stage. So I didn’t expect that my career would change. I like to be on the ground and stay in reality. I like it more than thinking that life will change.”
Yet, he admitted, there have been noticeable changes. “But yes, there are some changes. People look at me differently. I’m getting more calls than I have ever received. But I also know that this is very temporary and it is only for now. Everyone has the same story. Some tell openly, some don’t.”
Along with external changes, Vishal recognized his own growth over the years. “I have also changed a lot. My confidence has improved. I am able to present myself openly. I am able to express my emotions. There are many other sides of mine which are now coming to the forefront which were earlier not seen”.
Looking ahead, Vishal expressed hope and excitement for unexpected opportunities. “I can only hope that something different, like a commercial zone, something new, which I didn’t expect, pops up for me .”
