Sunny Deol’s next in ‘Gabru’

On the work front, Sunny Deol gears up for the much-awaited ‘Gabru’. Directed by Shashank Udapurkar and produced by Vishal Rana and Om Chhangani, ‘Gabru’ hits theaters on May 8. Simran and Prit Kamani star alongside him in key roles. The film explores “themes of courage, identity, and resilience—elements that have always defined his cinematic journey.”

Additionally, Sunny takes on Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. Sai Pallavi portrays Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer composed the music. The first part premieres in theaters on Diwali 2026, with part two slated for Diwali 2027.
