Before the disheartening circumstances in the final moments of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ MJ had a pessimistic point of view; however, Peter Parker used to smile even with his blood-soaked face after looking at his love. “Now that Peter Parker’s alone, he’s kind of adopted that negativity and she’s adopted his positivity,” Zendaya said during an interview with Variety India. “We kind of describe it like a fun acting exercise. But now, as if you’ve never met before, you know. It was fun to investigate and think about what their lives have been like without Peter,” the actress expressed about treating her husband, Tom Holland, like a stranger on camera. When asked about their dynamics, she claimed, “In the previous films, MJ was always the pessimist, and Peter was always the optimist. So, it’s interesting to see the reversal.”
