The Duchess of Sussex appeared in good spirits as she entered the carpet of the 15 Percent Pledge Gala. Markel was present at the event as her friend Tina Knowles was the honoree for the night.

She carries a black velvet coat hanging from her elbows, creating a long train. The Duchess of Sussex wore her hair in a sleek chignon and accessorized with black and diamond drop earrings, a large black stone ring and black heels. Her natural makeup palette with a slight smokey eye complemented the gown. Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry, did not appear to attend the gala with the duchess. Meghan was seen smiling and chatting with attendees at the event.

Meghan’s support of Knowles at the gala comes after the business mogul appeared on her podcast, ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’, in June.Knowles spoke to Meghan during the episode about working with her famous daughters, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles. She also shared advice with the Duchess of Sussex about possibly working with her children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibert, 4, in the future.
