Ed Sheeran is currently on his North American tour ‘LOOP’. While the singer has just started off his tour, he has a major update about his career to share with fans. The singer started off the tour on June 14, where he held the first show in Glendale, Arizona.

While performing some of his biggest hits in Glendale to start off his North American tour, the famed singer had a shocking update to share with his fans. Videos and photos from the event went viral after Sheeran admitted that fans may not be seeing him for quite some time in the coming months.During one of the taling segments of the concert, the singer revealed that he is planning on taking a step back from music to focus on his personal life more. “This is gonna be my last time here in a while. I might take some time off once this tour has ended and sort of do the dad thing. So if I don’t see you for a while, I love you, thank you for coming”, he shared, as per one of the fan videos that was shared online by one of the concertgoers.The news comes a month after Sheeran announced that he was leaving his music label, where he had been working for the past 15 years. He had made a public statement about the shocking turn of events, and had stated, “This isn’t a ‘disgruntled artist leaves record label. This is a boy who started as a teenager on the company with different priorities, to the father-of-two man who exists now, who feels like he needs a shift and change.”

This is not the first time that the singer has taken a step away from his music in order to spend some time on his personal life. Sheeran last took a break in 2015 following the release of his ‘Multiply’ album. Afterwards, he announced another break from music from 2019-2021 after his ‘Divide’ era.
